Little Heathens Ranch

Well… I have to say, I missed the snow but much prefer to experience it when I am both ready and expecting it. February 12, 2021 a massive winter front hit Texas leaving most of the northern area of the state covered in snow Friday morning. It snowed for 3 days continuously!! We got anywhere from four to twelve inches of snow depending on the area. That is unheard of for Texas! Luckily we were cold but had power the whole week Texas was frozen, and while our cold water lines froze we were able to keep hot water flowing to the house. We are slowly thawing out and should have full water usage back tomorrow. The animals had a blast and we had fun driving around to see the unprecedented winter scenery.

We pray for those who have lost power and water for days on end through this unexpected event. Many are suffering throughout North and East Texas, the utility linemen are working day and night to get things back on track. If you see them out working, offer them a meal or hot drink and thank them for their efforts. They want to be home helping their own families who are without utilities as so many are across the state.
