Hello Homesteaders!
Here we are in November, 2020 is coming to a close finally! I’m sure we are all ready to see the end of this year. I hope and pray that 2021 will be a better year for all.
Trixie has gotten huge over the last couple weeks of her pregnancy! Her days are filled with eating, sleep, and finding someone to scratch her ever growing mid section. Everything looks to be going well, anyday now we should have puppies in the ground!

The sheep are happier now that the temperatures have cooled off and the winter is coming in. Of course, winter in Texas is not all that severe most days.. more of a harsh fall than true winter. Either way the reprieve from the hot, humid summers is a welcome change. We are considering adding in some Texel or Tunis bloodlines sometime soon, maybe this spring. The Texel would add size and extra muscling, Tunis would give size and predisposition to handling heat well. Now to see what can be found near us and decide which to move forward with if not both. We do need some new ram stock to open the bloodlines up a bit.
Catch us next month for more updates! Be blessed, everyone!
