Little Heathens Ranch

Hello Homesteaders!

It is now closing in on mid October for the Ranch. Trixie is tenatively confirmed to be pregnant! Our ewes are also looking rather puffy around the mid section indicating the are also probably expecting in Dec/Jan timeframe.

We have not been able to do much on the new house due to injuries and VA appointments but we hope to get back on that bandwagon as soon as we can. The Ranch in Arizona seems quiet and we hope it is left alone this time. I’m not sure we could financially recover from losing everything again.

I want to mention that since moving back to Texas, I have struggled with reintegrating to big city society. To cope with that, I have been looking at veteran groups online to work with as I can to help fill the void of that military family we grew to love so much. In my search, I stumbled onto a group called Disgruntled Vets; check them out on one of their many platforms!
